Titans: 10 best superhero costumes, ranked
Superheroes and Villains need the right costumes not only to conceal their identities, but also to allow them to better fight and defend themselves. In Titans, there is no shortage of costumes, each one standing out in its own way. That being said, not all costumes are created equal. Some are superior to others for various reasons.
The best costumes are normally those with advanced features or those that allow the wearer to perform better. Beauty is also a major factor, because no matter how advanced a costume is, it cannot be considered desirable if it is ugly. So far, many characters have been shown wearing costumes that rival those of more famous heroes across the DC landscape.
ten Hank Hall (Falcon)
The former footballer dresses in red and gray before facing criminals in the street. The costume comes complete with boots, gloves with claws, and a special cape that is supposed to look like hawk feathers.
The special thing about Hank’s costume is its impressive design. On closer inspection, one could argue that it does indeed make him look like a hawk. Unfortunately, there is nothing revolutionary about this. His sole purpose is to console his identity and as such the basic nature of the costume places him in the lower rank of heroes because besides fighting there isn’t much more he can do.
9 Conner (Superboy)
The Superman and Lex Luthor clone prefers to wear a t-shirt with the iconic Superman symbol on it. The look is completed with blue denim pants.
Since he is one of the most powerful Titans characters, Conner doesn’t need an upgraded costume. However, its casual look lacks originality as it looks too much like Small townClark Kent’s version. Appropriate tights would have made him look more powerful and intimidating, but on the positive side, his appearance is indeed comically precise.
8 Koriand’r (Starfire)
The Alien Warrior Princess wears a purple and gold costume, with long, striped boots. Additionally, she has Sawar bracelets, used to suppress her abilities, and a clock meant to conceal her identity on specific occasions.
Starfire’s purple and gold suit is aesthetically pleasing, but lacks any form of protection enhancement, hence the reason it ranks lower. Although she no longer needed them, her Sawar bracelets were the best part of her costume as they helped her regulate her rather powerful fire powers. Her coat, on the other hand, showcases her great fashion sense. It was also very useful when she was in hiding to avoid being prosecuted for the Scarecrow crimes.
seven Garth (Aqualad)
Garth’s brown, blue, and gold suit is different from his more famous counterpart, but it’s just as cool. There is the iconic letter A on the waistline to show that it is from Atlantis, as well as ladder-like features.
The suit is designed like a wetsuit and as such Garth can move much faster in the water. Thanks to the absence of inlays or special compartments for weapons, the suit allows for better reflexes. For example, he manages to catch a bottle in the air even before Hank, a lover of flight, is able to do so.
6 Robin Costumes from Dick and Jason
Dick Grayson and Jason Todd both wear similar costumes during their respective stints as vigilante, Robin. The costumes are primarily intended to conceal the identity of the wearer, but they also house devices such as shurikens and smoke bombs.
The Robin costume is superior because it was designed by Bruce Wayne. Zylon’s fiber fabric makes him so tough that Dick was able to survive an acid bullet attack from Zucco, one of the world’s smartest villains. Titans. The green and red color schemes are also a darker shade, highlighting the fact that this is a more serious Robin compared to the one portrayed in other media.
5 Rose Wilson (Ravager)
After learning special skills from her father Slade, Rose dons a costume and becomes the hero known as Ravager. The costume has many similarities to Slade’s, the main difference being the mask.
Rose’s costume is perfect because of its durability. As he is modeled after his father’s costume, he can resist all forms of attacks. The holsters intended to hold her sword are also quite firm as she can engage in all forms of reflexes without them falling off. Additionally, most comic book characters with a white eye never get the same live-action treatment that Ravager does, making her appear more badass.
4 Dana Troy (Wondergirl)
Before hanging up her boots, Diana’s adopted daughter wore a red suit with Themysciran gauntlets on her arms. The costume was also equipped with trackers and a golden lasso like that of his mentor. Not to mention the W-buckle belt.
The golden star shaped decorations spread over the costume is mainly what makes it look stunning. The decision to go red helps differentiate Dana from Diana Prince, who also prefers to wear a skirt rather than pants. The most remarkable thing about the costume happens to the lasso, which remains visible at all times, unlike Diana’s, which is largely hidden.
3 Slade Wilson (Deathstroke)
Slade’s suit is full armor that includes compartments for weapons. He is designed to carry his sword, combat knife, and assault rifle.
The costume not only makes Slade look badass, but it is also very effective. This protects him from blunt trauma and even Starfire’s powerful thermal blasts. It is also bulletproof, its only weakness being its vulnerability to electric shock. When in a fight with Nightwing, Slade is easily neutralized by electrified Escrima sticks
2 Jason Todd (Red Riding Hood)
Red Hood’s armored suit has a metallic helmet with a feature meant to disguise his voice. The thigh areas contain holsters for carrying weapons as well as compartments for weapons.
The voice disguise feature is a cool enough feature that the suit ranks well. There is no originality there since the idea is borrowed from the Batman costume but it still has a cool side. In addition to hiding Todd’s identity and changing his voice, the costume is durable. In Todd’s many fights, he handled gunfire and electric attacks effortlessly. Plus, the hooded leather jacket helps keep it mysterious.
1 Dick Grayson (Night Wing)
Dick was one of the best characters in season 3 of Titans, thanks to him who went from Robin to Nightwing. Her new costume was designed by Lilly and Stu under orders from Bruce. The black and blue suit has a special mask with a wireless transmitter as well as Starlite night vision lenses.
Dick’s Nightwing costume is without a doubt the best because of its multiple unique features. Thanks to its Nomex and Kevlar materials, the suit is not only flame resistant but also bullet resistant, making it impossible to kill by explosions or gunfire. What’s even more impressive is that forearms can summon his mighty Escrima staffs wherever he throws them. The presence of vision glasses and a transmitter means he can never have communication or vision problems. And like Stu said, there’s no discomfort. The limited inlays allow Dick to be more flexible during fights.
