Monroe, daughter of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, makes modeling debut
A mini superstar! Mariah carey and Nick canon10-year-old daughter Monroe paid tribute to her mother during her very first brand campaign.
In honor of OshKosh B’gosh’s new “Today is Someday” back-to-school campaign, Monroe took on the role of “Fantasy” singer, 51, at the age of 10 in a recent Photo shoot.
According to a press release, the announcements “[pay] homage to Carey’s emotional childhood, songwriting, and profound impact and influence on generations of young dreamers – with visual nods to Carey’s renowned singles. The campaign also pays tribute to Muhammad Ali and Outkast.
The set was designed in conjunction with Carey herself, with Monroe’s wardrobe paying homage to the young superstar featured in the music video for her 1990 single “Someday”.
With Monroe, Carey and Cannon, 40, share a Moroccan son, also 10 years old. The former couple welcomed their twins in 2011 after three years of marriage.
As the duo announced their split in 2014, they established a positive co-parenting relationship. the Masked singer the host said Us weekly exclusively in April 2019 that he and his ex-wife “still want the best” for their children.
“We have our ego and this selfish behavior [but] when you put your children first, you understand that everything is unconditional love, ”he explained at the time. “All that other stuff is falling apart.”
He also shared that the brother-sister duo looked a lot like their famous parents.
“These are hams! he said We. “They like a camera, they like a microphone. They’re on stage every night with Mariah, and they’ll take over the show if they don’t have their mics. [taken] of them.”
After her split from the Grammy winner, Cannon took in five more children. Him and Bell of Brittany share a son, Golden, 4, and a daughter, Powerful, 7 months. Last month he also became the father of his son Zen with Alyssa scott and the twins Zillion and Zion with Abby De La Rosa.
Earlier this month, the All that alum said he expanded his family “on purpose” during an appearance on his Power 106 radio show. His explanation came after the rapper JT told him to “wrap it up and protect it [him]self ”in terms of contraception.
“I didn’t have an accident. [There were] alot of people that I could have gotten pregnant that I didn’t. You only live once, ”Cannon replied.
